Weatherford June 11

So I forgot to do this on thursday and I'm sorry but the windows are dirty because the windshield washer is broke.

Grrr.
The weight station. They are really nice.

The line behind me. I didn't get the picture soon enough.

One of two Cherokee Trading Posts. This is the Red Cherokee.

A river.

The truck stop at hinton, but I don't need gas today.

Weatherford's Corn Maize place.

Welcome to Weatherford.

This sign (is out of chronological order but) explains the next picture.

Some cute puppies!

Downtown Weatherford

Route 66

Downtown park.

Windmills (I got carried away but I saved the best for the blog).

Cute little ranch.

Horse Creek Road (I don't think that's the official name.) Lots of wildflowers.

My Destination Horse Creek Garden Center.

The wildflowers on Horse Creek Road.

An Old House.

Wheat field.

Windmills over Weatherford.

This sign (is also out of order but) explains the next picture.

Repaving I40 approaching Hinton.

Here in oil country you see a lot of interesting rigs.

Trooper Forrest and Police Prairie. This is a place where the coppers like to hide out to catch excessive extravelocitators.

Yukon watertower: The front says home of Garth Brooks. The Next exit sign is for Garth Brooks boulevard but I didn't catch it.

The crappy I40 Yukon road. And its movie counterpart!

This is exactly how it feels.

The Turnpike to work. (or I44)

Wheat field on the John Kilpatrick.

Lake Overholster.

Love the mater pictures, so funny. Don't most roads here in America's Heartland feel like that? I've seen many, many potholes that a small car could hide in! I couldn't read the signs and for some reason I can't make your pictures bigger like on most blogs. Sadness :( I love the small town look of most "main streets" here and I adore the windmills. I wish we had some closer! You should get a picture of a truck hauling a wind turbine arm, or whatever it's called. They are MASSIVE!
