So while we were in Mound City, I was sent to the store and to drive around so that the baby would fall asleep. Which I did.... (Well, what makes it naughty then?) Oh, that comes later.
Catholic Church in Mound City. By this time I realised that the baby was asleep so I went back home.
Baby is in Bed and I'm back to the store. Here's one of our Landmarks.
Kansas Hwy 7
Mound City entrance sign.
Where I got milk and grapes. And made the bad decision to see Mound City and Pleasanton. Oh it will be quick! Sure...NOT!
Downtown Mound City.
The Courthouse.
Out by Pleasanton, but what is it?
Mine Creek Civil War Memorial Museum/Visitor Center. I had no idea that the Civil War got this far west.
The Lake/Park before Pleasanton. I forgot the name of the lake and the park.
Coming into Pleasanton.
Downtown Pleasanton.
King of the Mountain.
Oh Yum. Where we ate last night.
Evidently this is the only industry in Linn County. They build cement I-beams for highway overpasses.
Coming back to Mound City.

Hmmm...I didn't get to see any of this! :( we must go back soon! You also didn't say why you were naughty! Don't worry, I know why! Heheehhe. Lets go back in a few weeks, I had THE MOST FUN SINCE WE'VE MOVED HERE! Besides for maybe great wolf!
"Where I got milk and grapes. And made the bad decision to see Mound City and Pleasanton. Oh it will be quick! Sure...NOT!" That was the naughtiness of mine. I missed taking pictures of this stuff when we went out to eat at Cookee's and when I got the table so I thought I could really quickly go and catch the missed pics. Didn't work out too well.
